World Cup 2010 is the 19th FIFA World Cup, the premier international football competition. It’s being held in South Africa, from 11.June to 11.July 2010. The tournament is the first hosted by an African nation.

The final match will be hosted on Soccer City stadium (former FNB Stadium) in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Naomi Campbell with the trophy

Glamorous supermodel Naomi Campbell was in Paris with a mission – to unveil the new World Cup trophy’s case. Unfortunately for her, it held only a replica of the solid 18-karat gold cup. The case has been designed by Louis Vuitton, and should protect and carry the world cup to South Africa.
